Functional
Fixed Clamping Plate or Top Plate
The fixed clamping plate or the top plate holds the fixed side of the mold to be attached to the fixed plate of the injection molding machine. At this plate will attach the locating ring, eye bolt, and sprue bush.
Runner Stripper Plate
The runner stripper plate is only used in 3 plate molds type, the runner stripper plate’s function is to cut resin from the nozzle on top of the sprue bush and pull the runner by a runner locking pin.
Fixed Mold Plate or Cavity Plate
The fixed mold plate or cavity plate is used to hold the cavity side of the plastic product, leader pin, support pin, Puller bolts, and Angular pin when the slider is attached.
Movable Cavity Plate or Cavity plate
The movable cavity plate or cavity plate is used to attach the core side of the plastic injection product, return pin, leader bush, and slider core.
